Typically, armies win by defeating all opponent troops. When either army is vanquished, the fight freezes and the player is told of the winner. The fight begins as soon as the player presses “Start,” and the two armies rush forward to assault each other. Both armies can be deployed on separate sides of the map, or one can encircle the other. There is no monetary restriction in the latter, and participants construct both armies. In the former, players are given a set amount of in-game money with which to develop an army in order to beat an opponent’s force. The game has two major modes: Campaign and Sandbox.
